Isaac Newton: The Man Behind Gravity
Isaac Newton was an English scientist who recognized what gravity is, back in the 1600s. He realized that just as Earth's gravity attracts a falling apple, so Earth's gravity attracts the moon and keeps it in orbit around us. In addition, Newton developed
laws for how objects move. He was also well-known for his work on light and color and for what is now called calculus (a branch of mathematics).
