crease on their TLR gun-mounted lights and greatly ex- panded their line of light/laser modules and housings for sub-compact pistols. They launched their ProTac Rail lights, their fi rst non-TRL lights for rifl es, and introduced Flat Dark Earth housing colors on select TRL lights. They also released a ProTac handheld light putting out 2200 lumens.

TLR Now At 800 Lumens For 2016, Streamlight increased the light output of three TLR gun- mounted high lumen (HL) lights, the TLR-1 HL, the TLR-2 HL, and the TLR-2 HL G. Each of the models now delivers 800 lumens of white light. The upgraded models give offi cers full situational awareness by delivering extreme brightness in a wide beam pat- tern, similar to that of a fl ood light. The TLR-2 HL is also equipped with an integrated red aiming
laser, while the TLR-2 HL G features a green aiming laser. Six times more visible than red, green is particularly effective in day- light. All three models also feature strobing capability. The strobe feature, which can be disabled, is activated with two or more mo- mentary paddle hits. “These lightweight, compact, high-lumen lights give fi rst re- sponders powerful weapon lights,” said Streamlight President and Chief Executive Offi cer Ray Sharrah. “They are designed for a wide variety of tactical maneuvers such as clearing a dark room and searching alleys.” The lightweight, compact lights each feature the latest in LED technology, including a shock-proof C4 LED and a special optic that produces a concentrated beam with optimum peripheral il- lumination. The upgraded lights also now offer a 275-yard beam distance. The TRL mounts directly to all MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rails and handguns with Glock-style rails, and has accurate sight repeatability when remounting.
We mounted the TRL-2 HL G to a Glock 32 (4-inch, 357 SIG) or 2016, Streamlight introduced a big output in-
used during tactical callouts. The 800-lumen output is amazing, the controls are easy to use, the greater visibility of the green laser is obvious, and the light had no effect on cycle reliability. This proved to be an outstanding addition. The TLR-1 and 2 HL both offer 1.7 hours of continuous run-
time, while the TLR-2 HL G provides 1.5 hours. All three lights use two included 3-volt, CR123A lithium batteries. All the TRL lights have an operating temperature range of (-) 40 deg F to (+) 120 deg F, a major accomplishment for the green laser. These 800-lumen weapon lights have an MSRP of $239 (TLR-1 HL), $533 (TLR-2 HL), and $580 (TLR-2 HL G). For 2016, Streamlight introduced Flat Dark Earth and Flat Dark
Earth Brown colors for select TLR weapon-mounted lights. Spe- cifi cally, the TLR-1 HL is now available in both of the new colors, while the TLR-6 for the Glock 42 and Glock 43 is available in Flat Dark Earth Brown.
TLR-6 For Most Sub-Compacts For 2016, Streamlight greatly expanded the number of TLR-6 fi tments for sub-compact pistols. They now offer a Universal Weapon Kit for the TLR-6 pistol light that includes a light/laser module and six interchangeable housings to fi t a variety of sub- compact pistols. The housings are designed for use with more than 18 different models of Glock, S&W M&P Shield, Kahr, Sig Sauer, and Kimber pistols. The TLR-6 is the fi rst white light with an integrated red aiming
laser for sub-compact pistols. The TRL-6 was introduced in 2015 with a housing designed to fi t the trigger guard of Glock 42 and Glock 43 pistols. “We now have expanded the versatility of the TLR-6, with ad-
ditional body housings that quickly and securely attach to the trigger guard of additional types of sub-compact pistols,” Sharrah stated. “Now even more offi cers can attach this light/laser module to their sub-compact pistol of choice and benefi t from its bright white light, as well as its red aiming laser.” The TLR-6 uses the latest in C4 LED technology to deliver 100
lumens and a beam distance of 100 yards. Its parabolic refl ector
