Mutualink and Rave Mobile Safety Partner to Improve Emergency Response Times and Incident Communications


Mutualink K12 integration with Rave Panic Button will enable instantaneous communications and data sharing during emergency situations

Two leading public safety technology innovators, Mutualink and Rave Mobile Safety, have partnered to enable faster real-time communication and infor- mation sharing with fi rst responders during an


emergency. The companies have integrated their ad- vanced communication technologies—Rave Panic Button and Mutualink K12—into one effective, easy-to-use sys- tem. The communications platform is ideal for K-12 schools, colleges and universities, as well as hospitals, municipal buildings, retail and entertainment venues, and corporate campuses. The combined solution instantly links onsite personnel di-


rectly with police, fi re, and EMS during emergency situations. For the fi rst time, the parties can now share critical in- formation in real time—in- cluding push-to-talk radio, public address/intercom communications, live video streaming, and fl oor plans of the facility. This enables first responders to gain greater levels of transpar- ency into an emergency situation before entering, as well as have radio interoper- ability with the onsite radio system, regardless of type. This increased situational awareness results in a faster, better informed, more precise and effective emergency response. “Mutualink’s interoperable communication platform combined

How Does It Work During an Emergency? • When Rave Panic Button is activated, 9-1-1 is immediately


dialed and a voice connection established with the telecommu- nicator. Simultaneously, on-site personnel are notifi ed and a secure communications connection is established between the school or facility and designated fi rst responders through Mu- tualink’s platform. • Mutualink K12 acts as a gateway for real-time voice, push-to-talk radio interoper- ability, video streaming, data and text communications, enabling school offi cials and fi rst responders to share crit- ical information in real time. • Additional agencies can
