sembly in Fort Wayne, Ind., in October, and then onward to thank our 2015 Volunteer of the Year Award recipient, Darryl Horsman, in Arizona at the Coyotes Curling Club. Aſt er that I spent a weekend at the Chicago Curling Club and at the end of December, I went to curl at the brand new curling club in Telluride, Colo. T ree out of the four clubs were relatively new. But, all have one thing in common – fun, fellowship and love of the game. It’s the love of the game that bonds us together and continues to grow

our sport. T anks to all that have welcomed me as we try to better com- municate what the U.S. Curling Association (USCA) is doing and how our athletes and clubs are making an impact. I’m excited to see a number of new applications for new curling clubs around the country, and can’t wait until we can say we have clubs in every state. As 2016 unrolls, I want to remind you that we have board meetings com-

ing up in February, April, July, and October. I will conduct a Town Hall call two weeks aſt er each meeting. Please try and join in on a call to hear the latest information, but more importantly, to ask questions. T e information will be posted at www.usacurl.org. T e October meeting will be our annual Members' Assembly, which this year will be held in Phoenix. Please watch for details and plan on attending. Please take advantage of the coaching clinics, the certifi cation classes,

and webinars that the USCA has to off er. Submit photos and stories to us for the Curling News and most importantly, let Rick Patzke in on what’s going
