COLLEGE CURLING College race coming down to the wire

is heating up. Tere are still a lot of events on the calendar so

it’s tough to project whether those schools who are “on the bubble” will be in or out, but there are a few that seem to have a visit to the National Championship locked in. Rensselaer Polytech- nic Institute, Rochester Institute of Technology, Bowdoin College, the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point, and Nebraska are among those, at this writing, who look to be part of the mix. Major events remaining on the schedule in-


clude events hosted by Yale (at Nutmeg CC), Carroll University (Kettle Moraine CC), Bow- doin (Cape Cod CC), Nebraska (Baxter Arena, Omaha) and at the Utica CC. Current school standings and other informa-


tion may be found at www.collegecurlingusa.org. Invitations will go out to the Top 16 schools in


the point standings on Feb. 16. Schools will have until February 22 to accept the invitation. Tis year’s Championship will take place at


the brand new Chaska Curling Center in Chaska, Minnesota. Schools will be playing for the honor of laying
