Sight Machine Inc. (San Francis- co), developer of manufacturing analyt- ics software, on Aug. 5 announced an upgrade to its software adding system- atic data conditioning and modeling technologies, new analytical capabilities and more automated tools for imple- menting the platform across distributed manufacturing operations. The updated software includes technology to speed the time needed to deploy tools addressing common problems in collecting, conditioning and analyzing data. In addition to increasing the speed of confi guring clients on the Sight Machine platform, the updated software enables Sight Machine to scale its business faster by signifi cantly reducing the amount of engineering services each new client requires. Sight Machine transforms heteroge- neous machine, sensor and part data from manufacturing processes into actionable insights, helping manufac- turers tackle challenges in quality and performance throughout their opera- tions. The analytics platform operates across individual machines, multiple factories and globally distributed supply chains. The platform now includes tools for automated provisioning of assets, data conditioning and modeling and an extensive set of data applications. Among other innovations, Sight Machine has steadily built out its data acquisition capabilities and now has interfaces that accept nearly all com- mon factory data sources. These include
