Old-fashioned, cupped and quartered blooms in a lovely blend of violet and pink are produced in abundance throughout the season. A well-branched habit ensures plenty of support for the large clusters of 10 to 15 fragrant fl owers. Slightly glossy, dense foliage covers the canes and is hardly ever aff ected by blackspot or mildew. An excellent performer in the Midwest and winner of multiple awards. T e dark green foliage covers the canes well and it’s among the most resistant of all red climbers. It can be trained to almost any type of trellis, even a straight up and down pillar to eight feet. Among the most popular climbing roses, Joseph’s Coat presents a continuous, kaleido- scope of colorful blooms throughout the season. Apple green, glossy foliage softens the bold statement made by the clusters of large, showy fl owers in blends of yellow, red, orange and carmine. T ough not hardy or very fragrant, the vigorous habit and remark- able show of color more than compensate. Beware - this rose is well armed with thorns.
