GIVE & GO ZOE STUKENBERG Maryland’s All-American midfielder nerds out on science

What’s one thing that always puts you in a good mood? Eating Indian food. My family and I have an unhealthy obsession.

What’s the most played song on your favorite playlist? Right now, it’s Zac Brown Band’s “Beautiful Drug,” but usually I’m more of a pop ballad girl. It is still a mystery why my team put me in charge of the warm-up CD last season.

Who’s your favorite athlete? Serena Williams. I respect the way that she dominates her

sport and stays true to herself. I can’t even pretend to know the fi rst thing about tennis, but from what I have seen she seems to be a bit sassy and rebellious, which is right up my alley.

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done? Sign up to participate in a mini “Fear Factor” show at Universal Studios with two of my teammates. It only took me about fi ve seconds to fi gure out I was afraid of heights, so it was also the last adventurous thing I have ever done.

What’s one thing you can’t live without? My dad’s cooking. At tailgates, he always loads me up with all of my favorites because I am the world’s worst cook – just ask my roommates how many times I’ve set the fi re alarm off.

would it be? Defi nitely my dad’s beef stew over mashed potatoes. I used to always have him make it for me on my birthday.

If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? Amelia Earhart. Ever since I did a book report on her in fourth grade, I have thought she is the coolest lady ever. Plus I could ask her where her plane crashed and get to the bottom of that mystery.

What is your favorite hobby? Teaching science, but I’m not even sure if that counts as a hobby. I’m a major nerd and love getting other people as excited about science as I am!

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up? I’ve always wanted to be a doctor. Hopefully, it is still in the cards, but I defi nitely have a lot of work to do before I get there.

OVERTIME FROM VIRGINIA GOALIE MATT BARRETT Grizzly bear vs. silverback gorilla – who are you taking and why? The grizzly bear, because the gorilla is strong and smart, but the bear is all brawn and no brain, so maybe I can outwit the grizzly. Plus my grandpa told me if you sing to a grizzly bear and walk away slowly, they’ll leave you alone.

DOUBLE OVERTIME FROM @MAGGIECOUGHLIN7 If you could live anywhere, where would you live? I would love to live in Portland, Oregon. I have always loved the Pacifi c Northwest and I like the nutty crunch vibes of Portland.

Pose a question for our next subject. What is your go-to deodorant scent?
