OLIVIA HOMPE GIVE and go //

Princeton’s All-American midfi elder is a Belieber and ODB lover

What’s one thing that always puts you in a good mood? “22” by Taylor Swift. At all of our home games, each player gets to choose the song that’s played after they score, and mine has always been 22, my number since high school.

What’s the most played song on your favorite playlist? I’m a sucker for Justin Bieber, so I’m going to begrudgingly admit that it’s, “What Do You Mean?”

Who’s your favorite athlete? I’ve become a huge Odell Beckham Jr. fan. His athleticism is off the charts, but I also enjoy watching how passionately he plays.

If you had to choose someone to marry, who would it be? Odell Beckham Jr. Those genes are just too good to pass up.

What’s one thing you can’t live without?

As mad as my mother will be when she reads this, I have to say caffeine. I’m not a functioning human before I drink my coffee.

If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? I love diplomatic history, politics, and international relations, so I’d love to meet Henry Kissinger, who is such a curious yet infl uential historical fi gure. But Justin Bieber is a very close second.

What type of animal would best describe your style of play? A monkey. I play pretty uniquely and creatively, and my playful side

defi nitely comes out when I try to get in the head of defenders and goalies. Also, my arms are disproportionately long for my body, so I fi t the bill.

What is your favorite hobby? I love doing crossword puzzles. I try to do The New York Times puzzle every day, but they increase in diffi culty Monday-Saturday. I usually can complete through them Thursday.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I have celiac disease, so I’m on a pretty strict gluten-free diet.

Luckily, my favorite restaurant in Princeton serves this amazing gluten-free pasta dish called the Balsamico, which is balsamic cream, chicken, kale, and roasted mushrooms.

OVERTIME from Loyola men’s coach Charley Toomey Would you choose a powerboat or sailboat, and why? I’d have to go with a powerboat, cause like my man Ricky Bobby said, “I wanna go fast.”

DOUBLE OVERTIME from Ellie McNulty (@elliemcnulty) If you were a dinosaur, which one would you be? A pterodactyl, because it would make my team so happy.
