NATIONS’ CUP/ ADULT GOLD CUP
CLASS ACTS HARMONY CLAIMS MEDALS IN EACH CATEGORY
The United States earned five medals at the 2017 Nations’ Cup and Adult Gold Cup interclub competition, held April 20–23 at Yost Arena in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ice House Skating Academy in Hartland, Michigan, orga- nized the event. Harmony Theatre Company (Ice House Skating Academy in Michigan) medaled in every category, and was joined on the novice podium by San Francisco Ice Theatre (Skating Club of San Francisco). The international Theatre On Ice competition drew 34 teams (605 ath- letes) from the United States, Russia, France and Australia. The United States was represented by 16 teams in the four categories: senior, junior, novice and adult. Teams were selected to par- ticipate by their respective nation’s governing body, with American teams being chosen by the U.S. Figure Skat- ing Theatrical Skating Committee. The United States last hosted in Hyannis, Massachusetts, in 2011. Nations’ Cup was first held in in Tou- louse, France, in April 2010. Team USA participants: Senior: Act 1 of Boston, Harmony
