Goals: To land my double Axel (short-term) and to compete at the U.S. Championships (long-term)


Favorite skaters: Gracie Gold, Ashley Wagner, Max Aaron, Jason Brown, Adam Ripon and Timothy Dolensky (who is local to my area)


How I got started: I discovered my passion for ice skating at the age of 4 while on a family ski trip to Lake Tahoe. As soon as I got home I signed up for classes and have skated ever since. I love it!


Why I skate: Because of the tremendous sense of accomplish- ment I feel every time I master a new jump or skill. I love both the competitive and performance sides of the sport.


Favorite moves: Russian split, hydro-glide , double Lutz


Favorite memory: Landing my Axel for the first time and making the final round at my first regional competition


Hobbies: Dance, wakeboarding, snow skiing, shopping and spend- ing time with my friends and family
