Te Haydenettes took another step in their quest to win a world championship, claiming their 25th title overall and eighth consecutive crown at the 2017 U.S. Synchro- nized Skating Championships, held February 22–25, in Rockford, Illinois. Te team from Lexington, Massachusetts, won both segments of the competition en route

to an overall score of 208.83. Tey’ll be joined at this month’s World Synchronized Skating Championships in Colorado Springs, Colorado, by U.S. silver medalists Crystallettes (Dearborn, Michigan), who racked up 189.90 points at the BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford. “Te hunger for us is different [this


year],” Haydenettes coach Saga Krantz said.
