Sales Engineer


Simpson Technologies, located in Aurora, IL is seeking a strong Sales Engineer, reporting to the Vice President of Sales, to be responsible for selling and supporting core Simpson products and establishing and strengthening customer relationships while achieving an assigned sales and profit growth goal.


Duties include forecasting and meeting targeted profit margin and revenue budgets; customer relationship management, assisting Manufac- turing Representatives in closing prospected sales, growing current accounts, collecting and institutionalizing industry intelligence.


The ideal candidate should have a minimum 7 years’ experience selling industrial equipment domestically and abroad; a minimum 7 years’ foundry related experience. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.


Must have a thorough understanding of manu- facturing capital equipment, specifically engi- neering drawings and bill of material (BOM). Excellent ability to prospect, develop, negotiate and close sales while meeting or exceeding margin and revenue targets domestically and internationally. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong knowledge and operating ability of PC’s and PC applications including MS Word and Excel.


Educational requirements: BS in a field related to technical management, business, or sales.


Travel up to 50% - 70% to customer sites worldwide.

American Spincast is a stainless steel centrifugal foundry & warehouse located in Belton, TX. We are in need of a Director of Operations, preferably a Mechanical or Industrial Engineer.


Key Qualifications/Experience


FOUNDRY ENGINEER/METALLURGIST—Stainless Steel Sand and Centrifugal Foundry in Youngstown, Ohio is seeking degreed engineer with metallurgic and managerial skills. Minimum 8 years’ experience in foundry engineering/operations. Position is responsible for all aspects of the foundry. Individual must be able to design riser contacts and gating on stainless/steel castings, read engineering drawings, calculate weights and have experience with induction melting, sand castings, no-bake and the centrifugal process. Individual needs to have a clear understanding of foundry production and strong communication skills. PLANT METALLURGIST FOR STEEL FOUNDRY


Degreed metallurgist with 7-10 years’ experience preferably with EAF melting experience. Must function independently and be able to make up charges, establish melt stock specifications, run all laboratory equipment including radiation detection, establish heat treat cycles based on chemistries, etc... He or she will interact with outside laboratories, and will interpret the test results as well trouble shoot daily issues.
