Q: What kinds of fun things did you do in London?

A: We went to Windsor Castle which was very very cool, the Queen is our Queen in Canada too so I really liked seeing

where she lives. Made it real for me. The lifestyle is nothing like I could imagine and I learned a lot about it. Our Tauck Director Barnaby went with us and told us lots of stories about the kings and queens who had lived there. After that we all went on a bike ride that was very fun to do and all the parents and grandparents came too. At night, we went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and it was amazing, the set was crazy and we got gooey chocolate candy to eat, perfect! One of the days we took a tour inside the British Museum and saw mummies of dogs and cats, which I had never heard of before. We went on a KGB Spy Walk with spy masters and clues to get to know London better. We split into three groups with names of spy rings, wore mustaches and had to find the secret agent master by answering questions in our little clue books. We had to do riddles and secret handshakes too. It was really fun and that day was one of my all-time favorites of the trip.

Q: What was your favorite memory of Paris?

A: Going inside the Louvre and seeing all

those paintings that were made hundreds of years ago. We didn’t have to wait on line and went in a different door with a local guide who showed us the most famous artwork. We went on a scavenger hunt in the museum and had a booklet that helped us learn all about the art with

questions we had to answer and activities we could do. I couldn’t believe how small the Mona Lisa is! Visiting museums like the Louvre with a guide makes you think differently when you look at art because you find out where it came from, how long it took the artist and how long it’s been around! It’s crazy!

Q: What did you like best about taking your Tauck Bridges trip?

A: It was really fun to explore with our Tauck Director, Barnaby, and the local guides and be with my family. Our

guides were really smart and made everything interesting and fun and got everybody excited about what we were doing and seeing. Their stories were the best and always made us laugh. I think the best parts are meeting other kids my age from around the world and spending time with my family. At night we would talk about the day and the events and we would laugh about each thing we did and look at the pictures we took. I make a scrapbook of each trip and look at them a lot. I also keep in touch with so many of the kids I met through social media and we hope to be able to travel all together again soon. I would love to do a Tauck Bridges River trip next as my family comes from Hungary.
