Heads up for ATC Europe 2017
We look forward to the 9th European Altair Technology Conference, which will be held in Germany in June
A
ltair has announced details of its 9th European Altair Technology Conference (ATC); the event will take place from 26 to 28 June at
the Congressforum in Frankenthal (Rhine- Neckar Area), Germany. Te 9th European ATC will cover the
complete spectrum of Altair offerings for simulation-driven innovation, from the application of simulation and optimisation technologies to partner solutions, as well as high-performance and cloud computing. Te three-day event will feature technical
experts and thought leaders in simulation- driven innovation, and will offer plenty of content for users and anyone interested in a wide range of product development techniques. Te first day of the event, Monday 26 June,
will offer insights into product development solutions for mechanical engineering, and will provide in-depth information on four different and diverse simulation related topics. Delegates will be able to learn from

industry leaders in four parallel sessions how to: lMaximise efficiency of dynamic machines; lDesign for 3D printing, by adding value with bionic design and simulation;
lDesign efficient electric machines; and lShorten time-to-market and increase product efficiency with next-generation maths and system modelling.
Whether you are an expert on simulation, a user of Altair Solution or neither, the event’s experts and independent industry thought leaders will present successful applications, new techniques, and insights into best- practice product development. Tey will address the challenges in mechanical engineering and offer solutions
THE PRESENTERS WILL SHARE INSIGHTS INTO THEIR DEVELOPMENT PROCESSES
for each of the above listed areas. Tuesday 27 June will be dedicated to
keynote presentations from all industries, delivering insights into simulation-driven innovation techniques from high-level Altair customers such as Airbus, Artemis Racing, Daimler, IAI (Israel Aerospace Industry), Porsche, Schneider Electric, Streetscooter and Zodiac Aerospace, the Altair executive team and industry thought leaders. Te presenters will share insights into their
development processes, and how challenges in product development can be overcome by allying the right tools and methods at the right time. Tis day is a must for all engineers and product creators looking for high-level insights from leading industries. On Wednesday 28 June the event will offer
in-depth technical presentations from users of the Altair solutions. Tey will be sharing their experience on special topics, such as optimisation, crash testing, EM simulation, multi-body simulation or multi-domain optimisations, with the tools and methods Altair provides. Wednesday will be divided in parallel sessions, dedicated to special topics and industries. Presenting at the European ATC provides
a unique opportunity to talk to a large engineering audience and discuss innovative work with one’s peers. If you would like to submit a presentation proposal for the 9th European ATC, visit
www.altairatc.com. Te technical showcase, presenting
soſtware and service solutions of Altair and its partners, will be open on the evening of 26 June and be open during the next two days. Exhibition details and sponsoring options will be published at a later point in time.l
