Staff from Barratt Homes in South Wales were in the festive spirit when they presented local charity Ty Hafen with the proceeds from its fundraising efforts in 2016. A series of events has raised more than £12,000 for the charity which aims to meet all the needs of life-limited children. Events included staff successfully tackling the Welsh Tree Peaks challenge and a charity golf day. “Te support from staff has been tremendous with everyone really keen to take part or support the fundraising events to raise as much as possible for such an amazing charity,’’ said Barratt Homes managing director Steve Williams. “Every year the staff run a number of charity events for local causes and we’re thrilled to have topped the £12,000 mark this year and the pantomime was the perfect opportunity to present the charity with the proceeds.” Natalie Whyatt, corporate partnership manager from Ty Hafen said, “On behalf of all the staff and families at Tŷ Hafan, I’d like to thank Barratt Homes for its generosity and hard work in fundraising for us. It was also fantastic to see them join in with the fun at our Christmas pantomime. Te money they have raised will make a world of difference to life-limited children, young people and their families.”
