Brewed slowly for optimum flavour, this method gives you complete control over temperature and brewing time. This Pour Over Coffee Drip and Stand designed by Danish brand, Bloomingville, has a gold stainless steel frame and black ceramic base to bring a luxe aesthetic to your daily grind. Comes with a beautifully textured glass drip. Coffee cup and saucer sold separately.

Made from stainless steel with a gold finish, glass drip and ceramic base.

Local housebuilder brings substantial

investment to local area As 2017 gets underway, Barratt Homes has revealed that it built 608 homes in South Wales during the past year and contributed £7.4m to communities where it is building new homes. The figures form part of the company’s socio- economic footprint which covers Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes and reveal just how much the local economy has benefitted from the new housing.

While the company itself has made more than £7 million of contributions to councils and for infrastructure and affordable housing for local people, it also calculates that it supported 1,300 jobs directly and indirectly and employs 22 graduates, apprentices and trainees. Barratt South Wales managing director Steve Williams said, “Many people will be aware of the thousands of jobs we create and support directly in the areas where we build new homes - but this latest research shows the extra investment we bring to local communities and the economy. “Leaving a lasting and positive legacy within the new communities we are helping to create is hugely important to us. And this might be through job creation, introducing new facilities to the area or by protecting the environment. We are proud to be a major player in bringing growth to this region and we will be working hard to continue this throughout 2017.”

Included within the company’s socio-economic footprint are key figures relating to the company’s support for the housebuilding supply chain, local communities, environment, public services and employment. Figures include: • Supported 1,300 jobs directly and through its contractors and suppliers

• Directly employed 22 new graduates, trainees and apprentices

• 90% of components used in the construction process were manufactured in the UK.

• Planted or retained 5,300 trees or shrubs on its developments

• 19.3 hectares of greenspace created though public open space and private gardens

• 71 per cent of homes are built on previously developed land

The report on Barratt’s Socio-Economic Footprint in 2016 was carried out by planning consultant, Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners (NLP).
