Quantum Advisory raises £11,000 for Ty Hafan

presented Tŷ Hafan with enough money to keep the Sully-based children’s
hospice open for a day. Tŷ Hafan’s Pay for a Day initiative invites
organisations to raise £10,958 which is how much it costs each day to run the unique support services the charity provides. Quantum recently fulfilled their pay for a day goal and presented the charity with £11,000. As a thank you from Tŷ Hafan, Quantum was invited to the hospice and awarded a handcrafted bronze apple to place on the special commemorative Gift Tree which honours donors.

As the majority of their work is about quality of life rather than end of life, we thought this very moving

support them by taking part in the Pay for a Day scheme.
One of our more ambitious fundraising events has certainly been the ‘Race to the Stones Challenge’ where a group of 20 of us walked 51km in a day. This

for the most avid walkers amongst us. Luckily our hard work was rewarded by generous support from family, friends, colleagues and clients and we managed to raise just over £7,740 for this one event. We are very proud to have reached our target, and will not be stopping there. We will continue with our efforts to raise money for this worthwhile charity and will be looking to arrange a number of other events, hopefully one of which will be a black-tie charity ball later in the year.” It costs over £4 million a year to provide Tŷ Hafan’s state-of-the art facilities.
