Jim’s Legacy to Scottish Labour Party Members “It all happened on my watch”
Personal Astrologer to the Great , the Good... and Jim Murphy and/or his successor
There are many remarkable phenomena in the firmament of governance and none of these is more respected (due to its scientific methods, fearsome objectivity and immunity to political interference) than the Office of Budget Responsibility (OBR), which this month I am relying on entirely to bring you Mystic Mons Meg*.
Consequently, I can reveal that the OBR predicts that by 2040 the Tories will still be in power, winning the last three elections with Jim Murphy as PM, that Labour will merge with UKIP in 2023 (it may already have done so), that Ian Smart will win the Nobel Peace Prize and that house prices in the south east of England will rise by exactly 2,546.7%, dropping by a similar percentage in Liverpool.
Furthermore the OBR is certain that England will win the world cup in 2016, 2020, 2036 and 2039 and the price of Scotish oil will have fallen so far that it will be practically worthless and it will therefore be given away free with copies of the Daily Mail.
* Tune in next month readers, when Mystic Mons Meg will be brought to you by the IFS.
