Print, customise and profit with Roland DG’s new LEF-200 UV flatbed printer
R
oland DG has launched the VersaUV LEF-200 flatbed printer to help printers capitilise on the fast-growing trend for personalisation and bespoke goods among consumers and businesses. The LEF-200 offers outstanding print quality, greater media compatibility, and ease of use for the personalisation and custom printing markets. With a print bed of 508x330mm (20x13in), the LEF-200 prints high-quality full-colour, white and clear inks on a wide variety of materials including 3D items up to 100mm (4in) thick. To accommodate an expanded range of profitable applications, the LEF-200 features a new on-board primer ink option for priming objects quickly and conveniently. The Roland VersaWorks Dual RIP software, included in the price of the LEF- 200, simplifies the process of producing graphics with special effects. Yuko Maeda, division president of Roland DG business development unit, said: “With the LEF-200 you can customise a wide range of consumer products and promotional items such as smartphone cases, pens, awards, giftware, plates and more.” The new primer ink option allows users to prepare an object for customisation before printing a full-colour graphic. M&R introduces the VictoryOne oval press
T
he VictoryOne automatic oval screen printing press is the latest machine to join M&Rs
growing range.
The press is available in six-station modules from 22 stations/six colours to 64 stations/24 colours with maximum image areas of 42x70cm (16.5x27.5in) on small pallets and
55x70cm
(21.5x27.5in) on large pallets. The press comes with a servo-driven indexer and servo-drive printheads to provide exceptional smoothness, consistency, and longevity. Also available are standalone Sechuan quartz flash- cure units designed specifically for the VictoryOne oval press. VictoryOne is the first product release of the joint design, manufacturing, sales, and service agreement between M&R and Hanglory Group of Shenzhen, China.

To meet individual business requirements, users can choose from three ink configurations: CMYK+white+ primer, CMYK+white+clear, and CMYK+white+white.
