Sign & Digital UK celebrates 30th anniversary in 2017
Sign & Digital UK, the country’s leading trade exhibition for the sign making, display solutions and digital printing industry will take place in Halls 17 and 18 at the NEC in Birmingham from March 28 to 30.
T
his years show will welcome a range of new suppliers to the show, with first time exhibitors including Color Master Digital Image Materials, Ribbon Print, the UKs largest wholesaler of ribbon printing machines and 3D machinery experts, Boxford. In addition to sourcing the latest products and technology, visitors can also make the most of live product demonstrations from the experts and meet brand representatives to discuss the products and services on offer.
Seminar highlights Incorporating this years show theme of applications, ideas and advice, 2017 will also see the launch of the brand new Creative Theatre. Bringing together case studies, content and learning developed specifically for professionals in the graphics, branding and display industries, topics will range from exploring interior décor, the benefits of variable data printing through to future materials and colour management. Visitors can expect to see daily sessions focusing on creative processes that take place pre-production. the competition and will include demonstrations on how to achieve exciting and creative signage and visual communications products and finishes. Alongside the new Creative Theatre lineup, the Business Theatre returns this year, with a full showcase of seminars and case studies from industry experts, designed to help visitors grow their business and increase their revenue. Get involved with a panel of experts on March 29 for Where physical meets digital, which explores how physical and digital signage are interrelated.
While for any visitors looking to access new or used equipment for their business, the Financing, funding and maintenance of equipment session on Tuesday 28 March is another not to be missed industry talk. The practical session explains the finance options for businesses looking to access expensive items, as well as equipment care and maintenance contracts. Visitors can also make the most of the returning Adobe, Corel and SignLab theatres. All three theatres will provide daily workshops and drop-in surgeries for those in need of a helping hand from leading industry experts. Highlights include Adobes No Limits Ask Adobe seminar, designed to give visitors the chance to discover many of Photoshops useful new and creative features. In the Corel Theatre, visitors can learn about the advantages of Wilcom DecoSTUDIO with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. Ideal for users in the apparel and promotional items industries this new suite makes it easy to visualise and design garment printing, embroidery and appliqué.
