FESPA 2017 global print expo encourages printers to ‘Dare to Print Different’

Like previous flagship FESPA events, FESPA 2017 includes three distinct zones devoted to screen, digital wide format and textile printing, encouraging printers and sign makers to explore the full spectrum of applications including graphics and soft signage, industrial print, garments and promotional items, interior décor, surface decoration and vehicle wrapping.
Stocks expands southern team with new appointment

ete Tarrant has joined Stocks southern team and will now represent the
company across all brands and services in the south of England. Mr Tarrant, digital embroidery guru and much respected industry advocate, said: “Stocks, like myself, have an approach to business that is customer focused and service orientated, so we are a great match. “The Stocks brands, ZSK and Brother, are industry leaders; they offer excellent solutions for both industrial and commercial users. I have always had a passion for embroidery so using
my skills and experience with Stocks enables me to do something that is personally very important; to help further the advancement of the embroidery industry both in terms of creativity and quality.” Mr Tarrant has over 35 years experience in the sewing and embroidery industry. His father was a leather tailor and, as a boy, Mr Tarrant learned his trade in the family business. In 1979 the business invested in embroidery equipment and this marked the beginning of his lifelong passion for embroidery. The industry was revolutionised in the 1980s; both by the development of performance multi-heads and embroidery design software; Mr Tarrant became immersed in this new technology and had loved embroidery since.
Having worked with a wide variety of materials from leather to
Lycra, both as a machine operator and digitiser, Mr Tarrant has a unique set of skills and vast experience as both practitioner and educator. These are assets that Stocks values and welcomes in forging this new relationship.

Ms McGuinness added: “We know that discovering new products is the primary reason that thousands of business owners and senior managers commit to visiting FESPA year on year.
