CONTENTS From the editor W

elcome to the December issue of ACR News.

2021 has been an extraordinary

year, beginning with Covid-19 lockdown and many sectors stalled. We’ve seen parts of the world suffer the worst of the pandemic and, at time of writing, Omicron is reminding us that it’s not necessarily over yet. We’ve also seen the world start to bounce back with unifying sporting events and conferences. The most impactful of these will most likely be COP26 and the coming months will surely reveal any impact that it has on industry. Business seems to have picked up enormously in the acr sectors with many reporting that they’re run off their feet. Overall 2021 has been a year that started very tentatively, but looks set to be finishing with confidence. In this issue we look at environmental issues and have a plethora of case studies which I hope you find informative and interesting.
