Condair is launching the Condair RO-E reverse osmosis water purifi er, which has been specifi cally designed for use with humidifi ers. The Condair RO-E will reduce the service requirements of all humidifi ers and improve humidity control when used with steam humidifi ers. The main service requirement of any humidifi er is associated with managing the limescale that is left behind when the unit either boils, evaporates or sprays water into the air. The Condair RO-E removes the minerals from the supply water before they are introduced to the humidifi er, thus signifi cantly reducing residual limescale following humidifi cation. In steam humidifi ers, this also improves humidity control, as the boiling chamber does not need to run dilution cycles to control mineral levels, and therefore water temperature and steam output are much more consistent. As the Condair RO-E has been designed specifi cally for use with humidifi ers, the range will deliver water with the ideal level of minerals for the type of application. Steam humidifi ers benefi t from water that is around 95-98% mineral-free. This quality provides a long service lifetime on the water fi lter membrane, optimal water consumption, and a signifi cant reduction in the service requirements of the humidifi er. The Condair RO-E+ model for spray humidifi ers will deliver 99% mineral-free water. Very pure water results in dust-free spray humidifi cation, with utmost hygiene control and mitigates the risk of spray nozzle blockages due to mineral build-up.

The Condair RO-E comes with an optional touch-screen

controller that can be mounted directly on top of the unit or located remotely.  www.condair.co.uk

Star Refrigeration has unveiled Azanechiller 3.0, the latest evolution of its low-charge ammonia chiller, setting a new standard for industrial cooling effi ciency and sustainability.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, Azanechiller 3.0 exceeds EcoDesign energy effi ciency targets by up to 110%, using up to 52% less electricity than standard models. It outperforms UK competitors by as much as 20% in Seasonal Energy Performance Ratio (SEPR), making it the most effi cient low-charge, air-cooled ammonia chiller on the industrial market. Capable of operating across a temperature range of -20°C to +25°C and cooling capacities up to 1,600kW, the plug-and- play chiller is suitable for food processing, pharmaceuticals, data centres, ice rinks and temperature-controlled storage. Engineered for resilience, it off ers a 25+ year lifespan and robust safety features, including portable safety showers, enclosed electrics, and optional access ladders. Environmentally, the Azanechiller 3.0 is future-proof in that it is F-gas and PFAS regulation-exempt with a low ammonia charge (0.18kg/kW), and optimised for ambient temperatures up to 40°C. The system is also Ethos-ready, allowing real-time AI-based data analysis and energy optimisation. Azanechiller 3.0 aims to deliver a reliable, energy-effi cient, and sustainable cooling solution that supports businesses on their journey to Net Zero.  www.star-ref.co.uk
