Aiken Pony & Young Rider Racing Clinic** Fri., March 13, 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm Near the Aiken Training Track Aiken, SC
Juniors on horses or ponies will be divided into groups based on ability,from beginner and never ridden a race to licensed jockeys looking to improve their skills. This clinic will serve as an approval session for USPR operated races. Come join the fun at this friendly experience.
• Students will learn how to ride safely in a group with a focus on SAFETY and control. Jumping optional (timber/hurdles)
• Advanced students will work on starting gate etiquette and more advanced racing strategies.
• Mounts must be min of 5 yrs old
* Pre registration required, fee $25 if PAID by 2/16, $40 after ** Free for registrants of Aiken Trials Pony Races, $20 for non-registrants
• For riders 18 years old and under able to canter
