Cutting Lengths The cutting length specifi ed on the blade is the result when clipped against the lie of the coat. When clipping with the growth, the length will be the equivalent of one size longer, for example, a #7 blade would cut to around a #5 length, or 6.3mm as opposed to 3.2mm.


Please remember to keep the skin taut when clipping dogs or cats, paying extra attention if the animal has lots of skin folds or has very thin, sensitive skin.
