Sow in rows directly in the garden when weather is warm and there is no danger of frost. Make rows 6-8 ft. apart and cover seed with pulverized soil at a depth of about 4 times the thickness of the seed. Plant 2-3 seeds per ft. and thin or transplant to 30-40 in. apart when established plants are approximately 4 in. tall. Let fruits fully mature and vines die back before harvest. Store in a cool, dry place. There are about 25-30 seeds in a packet, unless otherwise not- ed, 100-150 per oz.
