G K & N SERVICES LTD
G K & N Services was formed by husband-and-wife team, Gary and Karen Elsy, in October 1999.
Originally operating out of a service van solely repairing drainage and jetting vehicles. Only 18 months later, there was such a demand in the market that Gary Elsy made the decision to take on their first Industrial unit and take on their first employee , where they would reside for 18 months before moving again.
The second move took the company to Honley, where G K & N worked from a 2500sq ft workshop that allowed them to start manufacturing as well as the previous services that had been offered. This is when the company started making a real impact within the market, as they started carrying out re-mounts of tankers and producing Van Packs.
Due to the ever-growing demand, G K & N Services had to move again to an even bigger facility.
Now based at Milnsbridge in an 8000sq ft workshop, the G K & N team were able to start working on bigger vehicles and special projects such as remote reel variations, and opening the first drainage accessories shop.

up to 26 builds a year, this was a massive jump from Gary working solo and carrying out vehicle repairs in the early days. At the Colne Vale Business Park in Milnsbridge, many big achievements were made, the biggest being the export of a vehicle to Australia as well as starting to collect contracts from national companies.
After 6 years of being based at Milnsbridge, G K & N had outgrown yet another workshop. G K & N Services relocated to Lee Mills Industrial Estate in Scholes, where they finally have enough space to work on a variety of different builds and special projects such as Rail Vacs.
In February of 2013, Karen Elsy formed G K & N Spares Ltd within the new 18,000sq ft premises at Scholes , and alongside G K & N Services it has taken off considerably to the point of having to undergo several store expansions to hold a vast array of jetting and drainage spares.
The demand of G K & N Services has been on a constant increase since the movement from Milnsbridge, so GK&N put both a Service and Spares van on the road for nationwide support. It has reached such a level that in early 2021 an additional workshop had to be acquired alongside the premises at Scholes. The 8000sq ft unit in
