Banking Software to aid it in a sweeping overhaul of its payments systems. It decided to revamp its processes to offer its customers “a state-of-the-art service” and improve economic performance.

The selection process began at the end of 2015, with Banque de France opting for Sopra in July 2016 after an “extensive functional and technical benchmark” conducted at the turn of the year. The overhaul will be performed in conjunction with Diamis’ interbank exchange platform. Banque de France’s exchange and clearing systems are pooled with la Caisse des Dépôts et Consignation, part of the Victoires Paiements group. As such both firms will be undergoing the transformation.
