US banks Capital One, Fifth Third, PNC, TD, and Wells Fargo, and Safeguard Scientifics have invested $30 million


in Transactis, a provider of electronic billing and payment solutions. The company, which says that its technology reaches more than 100 million households and businesses in North America, has now raised $70 million.

Danske Bank has selected SmartDX to manage its derivative trade confirmation processing, replacing the HP Scrittura


solution. “Our new solution had to be an improvement over what we have today. SmartDX will let us reduce templates managed by about 60% while supporting documentation in five languages and across multiple channels,” says Michael Lærkesen Holm, Development Director at Danske Bank. “Overall, Danske Bank and our customers will benefit as we’ll shrink document development lead times to further reduce our time-to-market for new products.”
