ensure progress is made in the industry. We hope our support, our presence, and, of course, our tech- nology in partnership with ARA and its members helps move the industry forward in a positive way for all involved, to break stereotypes about the auto recy- cling industry and promote quality recycled parts as an optimal choice in the marketplace.” Jerry Brock, Brock Supply agrees with Moberg and says being a Diamond Sponsor is the natural thing to do when your roots are in the industry and you realize everyone grows closer as they work together. “Brock Supply was originally an auto recycler, which planted our roots in the salvage community,” said Brock. “We’ve all grown together as the industry has evolved. Where we come from is also the reason for our unique understanding of which aftermarket parts and supplies are important to our customers.” Brock, who was awarded the ARA President’s Award at last year’s convention (left), feels that the ARA’s Annual Convention & Expo helps to create this unique bonding within the industry. “The time taken to get together and share ideas is what helps move the indus- try forward and everyone

needs to be a part of that,” said Brock. “More impor- tantly, it’s one of the few ways we’re able to build and maintain relationships with others. We are a commu- nity rather than just another industry, which is one of the greater strengths we have.” “Wells Fargo Insurance is extremely proud to be endorsed by such a great organization!” says Bill Velin, Wells Fargo Insurance. “Anything we can do to help make ARA an even better organization going forward we will do whenever possible, and participation at the Diamond Sponsorship level is one of the ways we can do that.”

Moberg says the ARA convention is a great way for auto recyclers and vendors to find out what is hap- pening in the industry right now. “Certainly the annual convention isn’t the only event both recyclers and vendors will attend in a given year, but it is optimal for all to go to find out what’s happen- ing in the industry,” she said. “The convention is an excellent opportunity for recyclers to learn about tech- nological advances that can help run their business more efficiently and sell more parts. The same goes for best practices. It’s a chance to see their peers and dis- cover innovative and new ways to make their business better. As for vendors, you have to pull out all your stops, you won’t get a better opportunity to see the increased number of recyclers, or have a better oppor- tunity to show off new products. The show floor pro- vides an atmosphere you can’t get anywhere else in the industry, and we’re always excited to be a part of it.”
