shredder operation in Denver. He expanded into Colorado Springs and Salt Lake City. He sold the Colorado and Utah businesses to a public company in 1998, and at that time became the regional President of that company. In 2001, as Shredder Specialist, he oversaw all of that company’s eleven shredder operations, which processed a com- bined total of more than one million tons each year.

In 2003, he started a consulting business, Shredder Dynamics, LLC, to advise clients on the best design and installation of metal shredding and metal recov- ery operations. He has served in many positions at the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc., including Chairman of the Ferrous Division, Chairman of the Shredder Committee and on the National Board of Directors. Tony Aquila is also a keynote speaker, and serves as the Chairman and CEO of Solera Holdings, Inc., a company he founded in January 2005. As of March 9, 2015, Solera has a $3.6 billion-plus market capital- ization, and a mission to bring about a digital evolu-
tion of risk and asset management for the automotive and property marketplace globally, including the P&C insurance industry. Aquila has a proven track record building soft- ware businesses for the global auto- motive and insurance industries.
