TUNISIA have confirmed new rules regarding covid-19 travel restrictions. Speaking to TTG, the Tunisian National tourist
Office for UK and Ireland confirmed that children under the age of 18 will no longer be required to provide vaccination evidence or testing prior to arrival. This positive move opens the idea to family travel moving into the warmer months of 2022. Adults providing evidence of full vaccination against covid-19 will also no longer need to provide a negative test prior to arrival. The tourist office also highlighted how passenger locator forms will not be required until further notice.
Thailand Trades Tight Testing for Easier Travel
FULL vaccinated travellers planning on visiting Thailand will be able to do so at a cheaper rate in regards to covid travel testing.
From March 1, fully vaccinated travellers will be expected to take a day 5 antigen test as opposed to a current PCR test.
Along with the reduction in price, the antigen test can be self-administered, meaning travellers will no longer have to book a hotel to conduct the PCR test and await results.
The initial arrival PCR test for travellers will remain in place.
Reports have also suggested that a reduction to travel insurance for arrivals into Thailand could be as much as $30,000, again , increasing the appeal for foreign travel into the region.
