HE Hilton Belfast has long been an iconic part of the Belfast skyline. The hotel has been welcoming guests for over 20 years having been the first international hotel brand to open in Belfast after the Good Friday Agreement. To say a lot has changed in the last
three years is an understatement. The Hilton Belfast started a full renovation back in 2019. After many months and over £10m investment the hotel has never looked better. The first thing you notice when entering is the stunning new lobby. This area has an opulent
but welcoming feel. There is a concierge desk, individual check-in desks, lots of stylish seating and a spectacular suspended light feature. The Art Deco styles and clear geometric shapes ties the whole design together. The lobby is the central part of the ground floor with two great places to eat and drink at
either side. The Sonoma Bar & Grill has floor to ceiling windows overlook the River Lagan and the famous Harland & Wolff cranes. The design takes its inspiration from the natural and nautical history of Northern Ireland. The walls and ceilings are direct replicas of the first- class restaurant on board Titanic while the stylish bespoke tile work on the floor represents the Giants Causeway. This is a comfortable, yet elegant venue, perfect for every mealtime, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. At the other side is the hotel ‘s cool bar. No.4 celebrates the luxurious ambiance of 1920s supper clubs, filled with Art Deco inspired interior styling - metallic features, rich velvet seating and ambient chandelier lighting. The drinks menu champions locally sourced spirits, with expertly crafted cocktails designed
by a team of experienced mixologists. Highlights on the drinks list include the French 75, made with Ninth Wave Irish Gin, lemon and Champagne; and the Smoked Irish Old-Fashioned , featuring Hinch Bourbon Cask Irish Whiskey, prepared for each guest using a glass-smoking box for maximum flavour. A selection of delicate ‘small plate’ food dishes makes the perfect choice for a light bite or sharing. There are 12 floors of bedrooms and suites at the hotel. There are accommodation options to suit every occasion and a wide range of booking options. For special occasions, try an Executive Room, Junior Suite or Executive Suite. These rooms
and suites come with spectacular views and access to the Executive Lounge where drinks and canapes’ are served daily from 6-8pm.
