Adventure of a lifetime takes top prize in Emirates’ competition


T


HE winner of the second Emirates’ An Agent Abroad Experience... competition, run in conjunction with Northern Ireland Travel News, was announced at a VIP lunch for fi nalists in Shu, Belfast.


Libby Wilson took home the top prize of two return tickets to anywhere on the Emirates’ route network. Libby worked in Thomas Cook, Omagh, but has since moved to Liberty Travel in Letterkenny.


Her relaxing experience in Thailand, titled ‘Far Exceeding Expectations’, saw Libby and her husband set off from Dublin on the adventure of a lifetime. With relaxation very much in mind the intrepid travellers took a jungle river canoe trip, visited an elephant sanctuary (where they fed the inhabitants with bamboo and pineapple) stayed in a fl oating camp and enjoyed many relaxing massages and great food. It was quite the mix of quiet luxury, adventure, food and people.


Libby says she will be using her prize to visit her daughter who lives in Sydney, Australia.


The standard of entries was very high and it was tough to pick just eight fi nalists, and one winner! The Emirates’ and
