professional respect that Joy Thomas brings to the position will be key
to ensuring CPA Canada continues to build upon the solid foundation now in place,” says board chair Alain Côté, ICD.D, FCPA, FCA. Before assuming her new role, Thomas was CPA Canada’s executive vice-presi-
dent. As president and CEO of CMA Canada, she worked with Kevin Dancey — then president and CEO of CICA — to unite the profession under the CPA banner.
