7 Monitoring 7.1 Monitoring 72.
Regular inspections of lighting mitigation measures will be undertaken by the contractor’s, construction management team, Environmental Clerk ofWorks (EnCoW) and ecological specialists where required, to ensure effective implementation and report any non-compliances. If non-conformity with any control and mitigation measures is identified, it will be recorded and appropriate remedial action will be implemented.

The frequency and the location inspections will be determined by the Environmental Clerk ofWorks (EnCoW) and will be included in the Project Environmental Management Plan (prepared by EAOL) and the Construction Environmental Management Plan (preperatred by contractors). Any complaint regarding lighting on the site will be directed to the EnCoW. The EnCoW will investigate the complaint and provide a response within 24 hours. This may include investigation of alternatives, such as the use of lower wattage lighting, or re-direction of lighting or re-positioning shielding.
7.2 Reporting 74.
The effectiveness of lighting controls will be reported in the Site Inspection and Audit Reports .Inspections undertaken by the ecological specialists, where required and will be reported to the EnCoW.
