East Anglia Offshore Windfarm: Zonal Environmental Assessment Benthic Report
Figures 29-31 (top to bottom). Graphs showing the top ten most abundant taxa, the top ten most widely distributed taxa and the top ten contributors to total biomass (gWW) from the epibenthic trawl samples across the EAOW zone.
Figure 30 demonstrates that a number of taxa were found at more than half of EAOW zonal trawl stations.

Figure 28 al so illustrates the relative contributions made by each major faunal group to the total biomass (gWW) s ampled from across the EAOW zone. Fi gure 28 reveals that Fi sh (60%) made the greatest contribution to total biomass.
The next gr eatest contributions were made by Crustacea (24%) a nd Echinodermata (15%).
Mollusca (0.55%), Mi scellanea (0.45%) and Annelida (0.01%) al l made comparatively insignificant contributions to the total epifaunal biomass sampled from the EAOW zone.
