Promote and support the continued global adoption of harmonized data standards throughout the clinical research lifecycle by engaging regulatory agencies, research sponsors, academia and other stakeholders through education, advocacy and collaboration.
• Expand CDISC Membership, Communication, Collaborative Alliances and Education offerings globally, reaching new partners and stakeholders to further benefit patients.
• Engage stakeholders in standards development and education to foster adoption and realize the value (ROI) of implementing CDISC standards from the start.
• Analyze and identify opportunities to modernize the CDISC Terminology Process (in collaborateon with NCI-EVS).
Implement clinical research standards that are complementary to standards in the broader healthcare ecosystem and thus add value for clinical researchers, healthcare providers and patients.
• Work with partners to conduct and publicize Healthcare Link and eSource projects and their value.
• Expand collaboration in the area of biomedical informatics, precision medicine and academic medical research to realize a learning health system.
Leverage the Shared Health And Research Electronic Library (SHARE) and other tools to further expedite the development and facilitate the implementation of harmonized standards for clinical research.
• Demonstrate the value and capabilities of SHARE and its associated tools and processes.
• Develop and implement long-term financial sustainability plan for CDISC and SHARE.
