First Group of CDISC Instructors in
China Wenjun Bao, C3C Member, SAS
After months of studying and learning how to teach the CDISC Education courses, four C3C (China CDISC Coordinating Committee) members were elated to learn from Shannon Labout, CDISC Vice President of Education, that they have completed the requirements to become authorized instructors for CDISC education courses. Besides studying on their own, as part of the requirements, each trainee spent time
participating in one online training
so the students with language barriers can understand the content.
We are very proud to have this first group of authorized instructors in China who are also actively involved in the C3C. In their roles as instructors and C3C members, these individuals will play a bigger and increasingly important part in helping to expand global adoption of CDISC standards and promoting CDISC in China.

Kit Howard, CDISC Director of Education, who is the authorized instructor for CDASH, SDTM and SDTM-MD helped these individuals on their way to becoming instructors by providing them with excellent online training. She also travelled to China from the United States three times to enable them to the teach the courses with her.
One of most significant benefits of having local authorized CDISC instructors is the ability to teach the classes in the native language, in this case Chinese,
