A 65-old Hiller H-23A flies again after restoration and storage. Smithsonian archives indicate the “Early Bird” was one of the initial models delivered to the U.S. Army for Korean-War pilot training in 1951. The aircraft was in storage for several years and returned to flight in September 2016 at Woodliff Airpark in Missouri (98MO); Flown by owner/mechanic Steve Zaat.
