In mould applications Verstraete IML will showcase its in-mould labelling (IML) technology at Chinaplas, at a number of different booths – and for a number of applications. solvent-free, rotogravure printing machine will make its debut at Chinaplas 2017. The machine is aimed at applications in the manufacturing of flexible packaging, and in the packaging of food and beverage products, chemical products and medical supplies. It can help manufacturers to eliminate volatile organic compounds (VOCs). “It uses cold light to solidify coloured inks, without the need for solvents or VOCs,” says the company.
