Boat Out – save the date

YA Push the Boat Out is back for 2017 and will take place on 13–21 May.

This year, despite some challenging weather conditions, around 500 events across the country saw over 30,000 people attend their local venue with the opportunity to get out on the water and experience sailing and windsurfing. For the first time we were

delighted to welcome 50 MPs who attended PTBO events across the UK, many getting out on the water and having a go themselves. Push the Boat Out is all about clubs and centres opening their doors and showcasing what sailing offers from the freedom of being on the water to the social buzz, the thrill of racing and the fact that there is something for everyone. ‘We’d like to thank all instructors who played their part in PTBO. We are now busy planning the 2017 event with the aim of inspiring even more people to discover their local sailing venue and get out on the water next summer’ said RYA Club Support Advisor Jackie Bennetts. can take part visit www.rya.org.uk/go/PTBO
