SHOW IS BACK The Flooring Show 2017 will be back at the Harrogate International Centre from Sunday 17th – Tuesday 19th September, and visitor Registration and the Exhibitor List are now live.


By taking two minutes to register online, you’ll save yourself time on the day, giving you longer to enjoy the fantastic Show Features that will be returning once again. The Demo Zones, Trends Hub, Seminar Theatre, Wool Trends Centre and Carpet Fitter of The Year are free to all visitors and exhibitors, offering trade insights, advice and support.

TOPPS TILES ANNOUNCES MULTI-MILLION POUND


INVESTMENT Tiling specialist Topps Tiles is making a substantial investment into the business with a £2million refurbishment of its Leicestershire headquarters. This news comes as the business unveils its brand new careers website, and embarks on an accelerated store opening plan.


The investment will see a complete redesign and refurbish of its head office, based in Grove Park, transforming it into a state-of- the-art retail support centre. The remodel, which is due to be completed before mid-2017, will modernise the building, offering specific areas for team members to channel their creativity, as well as an innovative speciality product lab and team zones. Social spaces, an outside area and meetings rooms will also be refreshed to create a more open and contemporary place to work in.


As one of the biggest employers in the Leicestershire area, with more


than 270 staff on site, Topps Tiles is also placing a significant emphasis on its people with the introduction of its new careers website. The site will support the growth of the business across the UK, with new store openings creating extensive employment opportunities.


Having been headquartered in Leicestershire for more than 12 years, Topps Tiles prides itself on its family feel and offers significant rewards as well as plenty of scope to progress through personal development plans. To date, the business employs almost 2,000 people around the country.


The investment comes at a time when the company will be accelerating its store opening programme, with an ambition to take the total number of UK stores from 350 to 450 by 2021.
