The spring assisted Safety Gates are designed for easy manual operation and have a proven track record for being reliable when handling and storing materials onto mezzanine floors and high level platforms. There are two styles of Safety Gate which both have a counterbalance operation supported with a locking mechanism to hold its position. Both come in two widths to accommodate either single or double width pallet loads.
SPACE SAVING ROLL OVER SAFETY GATE For an area with restricted floor space, the Roll Over is ideal. Its design allows the loading and unloading of goods and only uses half the space of the load when in its closed position.
LARGE LOADING SWING ARM SAFETY GATE The Swing Arm Gate has a heavy duty construction and a larger capacity than the Roll Over Gate, therefore it is recommended for larger loads.

The Ajax Safety Gates were introduced in 1965, and have been developed and specifically designed for the ever- increasing demand in pallet movement and size. The construction of the gates provide the necessary all-round edge protection to prevent injury creating a safe working environment and eliminating the hazard of falls from height; the most common cause of injury in the workplace.
The Safety Gates are British manufactured from mild steel and powder coated yellow to BS 08E51 or galvanised to BS 729 for harsh conditions. For hygienic and corrosive environments, the Gates can be constructed from stainless steel.

BESPOKE SAFETY GATES The unique value Ajax holds is that its standard Safety Gates are complimented by the ability to be fully customised to meet the bespoke requirements different industries demand but in-keeping with the latest British Standards.
Ajax have taken their standard Roll Over Pallet Gate and made an important space saving modification for a client. With limited space between the opening of their mezzanine and the doorway access, Ajax designed a unique Gate construction to fold in on itself.
Now installed, single pallet loads can be easily unloaded by closing the side gate to maximise their floor space to manoeuvre the pallet through the doorway while maintaining safety in the warehouse.
