Safer Handling at Height The spring assisted Safety Gates are designed for easy manual operation and have a proven track record for being reliable when handling and storing materials onto mezzanine floors and high level platforms. There are two styles of Safety Gate which both have a counterbalance operation supported with a locking mechanism to hold its position. Both come in two widths to accommodate either single or double width pallet loads.

Martor is international and has been an innovator of safety knives since 1976 when it launched the semi auto retracting blade in the Profi knife. Since then it has registered many patents, including the fully auto retracting blade system found in many of its recent safety knives including the Martego and the Merak. Its objective has been, and still is, to help reduce cut injuries in the workplace. This is not only being achieved through safety functions designed as features in the knives, but also with the help of the unique training videos and ‘train the trainer’ programmes.
However, it is not just knives that are used to cut. Scissors, often with sharp cutting edges and pointed ends, are very much a part of the cutting scene. Martor’s recently launched range of safety scissors does away with points and sharp blade edges!
