THE FLOORING SHOW

THE ACADEMY FOR EXCELLENCE IN FLOORING

STAND B5

The Academy for Excellence in Flooring will once again be at this year’s The Flooring Show, revealing to visitors its range of training courses for flooring professionals.

With a wider syllabus than ever before, including specialist courses tailored to improving product knowledge for retailers, as well as the established

Master Installer programme, the academy is now considered the foremost training centre for flooring in the UK. Specialising in wood, laminate and LVT sectors, the centre features state-of-the-art facilities for practical and theoretical development.

“The Flooring Show brings together some 3,000 professionals of our industry and provides an excellent platform for us to communicate the positive work we do to raise standards right across the industry,” explained Lee Thompson of the Academy for Excellence in Flooring. “Being supported by Quick-Step, one of the most well-established household

brands in flooring gives us many advantages and it’s great to spend time with fitters, retailers and contractors, explaining just how the Academy can unlock extra revenue.”

One of those most famous initiatives from the academy has been the Quick-Step Master Installer scheme that provides qualified installers with a two year workmanship warranty and listing on the Quick-Step website for residential installations. Installers that have passed the intensive three-day course have reported a strong upturn in enquiries and work through the scheme.

Now with the Pergo Master Installer Pro course for professionals operating in commercial environments offering similar benefits, foundation courses and specialist sanding and finishing, the academy is bustling with opportunities to improve skills and knowledge. The Academy for Excellence in Flooring can be found on stand B5.
