ONCE A RESTORATION PROGRAMME HAS TAKEN PLACE, HOW SHOULD WE MAINTAIN THE GOOD-AS-NEW LOOK? Top Floor Tip 2: Along with an agreed programme to maintain the stone floor in the long term, we will always advise on a daily cleaning routine. Training can be offered to your housekeeping teams to help maintain the appearance of the stone throughout the year, and this always would be thoroughly recommended for the best results. Once a big investment has been made, it is vital that the daily maintenance team know how to care for the revived floor


so that it keeps its stunning new look for as long as possible.


WHAT ARE THE MAIN PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED WHEN ASKED TO RENOVATE FLOORS? Top Floor Tip 3: Unless we’re dealing with a specific regeneration project of an entire building, usually just general wear and tear is the main trigger for our services to be called in. All natural stone will lose some of its lustre over a period of time so maintenance is definitely needed over the years to replenish its tired look. As we all know stains create unwanted disfiguration, grout slowly deteriorates and day to day build-up of dust and grime will cause a finish to lose its sheen. Well looked after stone will stand the test of time and regular maintenance will make it look fabulous for as long as you want it to.
