LVT TO BE A KEY FOCUS AT FLOORING


AND TILING SHOW Visitors interested in luxury vinyl flooring will not be disappointed at this year’s Flooring and Tiling Shows as a number of exhibitors will be representing the flooring option which offers durability and an authentic look.


The Flooring and Tiling Shows are taking place simultaneously from 18th-20th September at the Harrogate International Centre and they’re looking to be another great success.


Exhibitors introducing new luxury vinyl tile products at The Flooring and Tiling Show include:


• Moduleo is debuting the new Moduleo Moods collection; a range that allows customers to create bespoke vinyl flooring using ten brand-new flooring formats. With the creative studio, up to 110 unique wood and stone effect designs can be made, using a wide variety of shapes.


• EarthWerks intend to introduce Styl’iT, a reinvented take on the classic ‘herringbone look’ and will also be bringing the new Brioso collection. Brioso is elegant and compact with 17 natural wood and


its Luxury Vinyl Tiles production in Europe, with the addition of a new production site in Poland.


Complementing its three existing LVT production sites in France, Luxembourg and Germany, the new expanded site in Jaslo, Poland, will enable Tarkett to meet the ongoing increasing demand in the LVT market, the fastest growing flooring segment in Europe. Tarkett expects the new LVT production in Poland to be fully operational by the end of 2016.

Tarkett’s plant in Jaslo has been recognised by the National Centre for Research and Development (an EU-funded Polish government agency) as one of the most innovative and competitive production plants in Poland. In particular, it has demonstrated a strong capability in combining production efficiency and environmentally-friendly product design for its new LVT Click product, adding


stone designs available to choose from, ideal for both residential and commercial flooring.


• J2 Flooring is increasing its already established domestic collection of luxury vinyl flooring, to 12 wood designs for both domestic and commercial use. J2 Flooring is also launching Commercial 0.5mm Wear Layer, allowing attendees a first look at the new product.


• Quick-Step will be showing its luxury vinyl flooring with fiberglass developed in-house by UNILIN, making it three times stronger than the industry standard. Quick- Step products are easy and fast to install, with the click system making the finished flooring extremely durable for multi-purpose use.


Other luxury vinyl tile exhibitors include Distinctive Flooring; Everbuild; The Modern Floor Company; Mercado; Victoria Carpets and Western Cork.


Each exhibitor will be looking forward to meeting and networking with trades people and industry leaders at the trade-only shows. At last year’s Flooring Show alone, there were 2,870 unique visitors, a number which is sure to be beaten in 2016.

The new production centre is scheduled to be operational this year. By then, Tarkett will have created more than 130 new jobs in the region.
