THE ANSWERS German floor care specialist Dr Schutz has launched a brand new brochure for retailers and end-users.


The new brochure, entitled Introduction to Design Floors, explains the benefits of Design Floors and best practice when it comes to maintain the flooring surface.


Design Floors, also known as luxury vinyl tiles (LVT), is fast becoming one of the hottest trends for 2016. Available in a wide range of luxurious and realistic flooring looks, such as wood, stone, marble or slate, the flooring is capable of providing long- term protection that cannot always be guaranteed with authentic materials.

REPRESENTATIVE F. Ball and Co. Ltd, manufacturer of flooring adhesives and subfloor preparation products, has appointed Bob van Wort to the post of Technical Representative in The Netherlands.


Bob’s appointment reaffirms F.Ball’s unwavering commitment to the Dutch flooring market and to increasing business development in the region.


Commenting on the appointment, Jonathan Goold, Export Business Manager at F. Ball, said: “We are delighted to have Bob as part of our team in The Netherlands. We are confident he will help us to strengthen our support to flooring contractors in the region, and continue to drive business forward to ensure our customers continue to benefit from the very best product innovations.”


Based near Rotterdam, Bob will work alongside the existing Dutch team to support the local distributor, Headlam B.V., servicing the needs of the various flooring professionals with on-site support, as well as supporting the development of activities in the southern part of the Dutch market.

Bob previously worked as a Sales Representative for the Netherlands based flooring distributor, Headlam B.V., for seven years, where he became very familiar with F. Ball products.


The married father of two, who enjoys listening to music and playing golf in his spare time, added: “I am really happy to be part of the F. Ball team. I developed a good understanding of the technical nature of F. Ball products in my previous role so I know firsthand the benefits they have for contractors.
